Product Care

Hey there! Thanks for choosing one of our balsam wreaths or decor to bring a little piece of Maine to your home this season. Our wreaths are handmade with love and fresh balsam from Downeast Maine, so we want to help you keep it looking and smelling great! Here are a few easy care tips to get the most out of your wreath.

Unpack Your Wreath Carefully

  • Unwrap and Let It Breathe: When you open your wreath, you might notice it’s wrapped in plastic to keep it fresh. Go ahead and take that off to let it breathe!

  • A Few Loose Needles? No Worries! It’s normal for some needles to drop when you unpack. Just give it a gental shake and it’ll look beautiful.

Handle with Care

  • Be Gentle When Hanging: Moving or hanging the wreath gently will help keep those needles and decorations looking perfect. If you’ve got bows or extras, adjust them carefully to keep everything in place.

Keep It Cool (Literally)

  • Avoid Tight Spaces Between Doors: If you’re hanging your wreath between a storm door and the main door, be careful! It gets warm in there, which might cause the wreath to dry out & lose its color.

  • Skip the Sun & Heat: Direct sunlight and heaters are no friends to balsam. Try to keep your wreath out of direct heat to keep it fresh and green.

Outside is Best!

Cool Outdoor Air is Ideal: If you can, try to keep your wreath outside. The cooler temperatures help it stay fresh and vibrant throughout the season, plus it keeps your entryway smelling like a Maine forest!

Give It a Little Spritz

  • Mist Every Few Days: Your wreath will appreciate a light mist of water every few days—especially if it’s inside. This helps keep the needles fresh and the balsam smell going strong.

We’ve Got You Covered

Your Happiness is Our Priority: We stand by our wreaths, so if anything’s not right, please let us know. We want you to love it as much as we loved making it!
